| KRC Art Extravaganza |
| Kenai Peninsula College Brockel Building |
| The event will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. in the commons area of the Brockel building—the opposite end of the building from the Band Aid II events. Art Professor Celia Anderson will provide a lecture/slideshow presentation titled, “KPC Arts at a Glance,” followed immediately with a reception for the closing of the annual KRC student art show.There will also be an exhibition of the Senior Art Portrait Project that pairs KRC art students with resident seniors from the Kenai Senior Center. The Extravaganza will close with a walking tour of the permanent art installations on campus where plaques that describe the pieces will be unveiled. |

| The second annual Band Aid concert is set for 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 3 in the Ward building at KRC. There will be live music from many local artists to support the Kenai Senior Center “Helping people to age with dignity.” Come together and enjoy a great concert for a good cause. A $10 donation at the door is encouraged.

| The Peeps Art & Photo contest is a local contest for children under the age of 18. Art themes will center around birding and/or wildlife of the Kenai Peninsula. This contest is held in conjunction with the Kenai Birding Celebration. An awards reception will take place on May 4th at 3:30. |
